You have less drama and headaches when you don't publicize your romantic relationship/s. As Indians, we think of it as our birthright to know other people's business. At times, it is without our knowledge that we start screwing up other people's lives. So, it is best to keep everything in the down low until you are sure that the relationship has some kind of future!!

it's nto only Indians who love to meddle with others privacy....i have found the German technicians also equally able....and they can alsways come up with such wonderful revealings about oneself that the self itself was not aware of!
Ex. they concluded that an newly arrived Indian grad student is a gay since he does not talk much to girls and is more of a soft guy and hangs out with guys!
Gotta love the Germans! I never thought of them as the judgmental types though! Hmm!
Love the example, by the way. Don't tell me that the Germans are as bad as the Americans! Ugh!

It took me years to come in terms with the fact that I really don't give much of a damn about what other people think. Unfortunately, others do!!
