Ok! By now..everyone knows what Desavathaaram lacked. Regardless, I'll post a list of the things that were so apparent that I couldn't look past them.
- Weird/bad story line
- Bad graphics
- Lack of authencity of most of the characters
- The make up really did steal the emotions out of some of the characters.
- Too much of Kamal Hassan
- The ticket was 17 bucks per person!!! IT WASN'T WORTH WATCHING SUCH A MOVIE!!! One day..I'll make Kamal Hassan pay for it!!!
Anyhow....
Do you know what's the worst state to be in? VULNERABILITY. When you're vulnerable, you become restless. When you're restless, you can't stop being paranoid. When you are paranoid, your thoughts will be occluded. When your thoughts are occluded, you will not be able to see the bigger picture. When you don't see the bigger picture (and the other side of the coin), you will become depressed!! I think I'm right at the vulnerable part......lost....not wanting to be restless!!!!!!!
Is it possible to just ignore your feelings??!?!?! I'm a walking time bomb...ANY TIME NOW!!! ANY TIME!!!!!!!
I saw Sex and the City today. What a predictable ending!! Everyone's happy at the end. Is that life? May be it depends on your perspectives and attitudes!!!

i think the animation was good enough for a tamil movie..kamal's acting is just extraordinary..

Well..It kept me on my seat..it was definitely entertaining...to watch JUST ONCE!! :D I think that the make up definitely did not help some of the characters to convey their emotions (facial) in an authentic manner!!!! Some of them looked SO DEFORMED!!! *no offense*
I think that the make up crew deserve much kudos!!! :D
Yeah man..17 bucks!!! expensive....! I don't know WHY they made us pay so much...! ugh!
frist... to merin : i liked the movie for a few things n didnt like it for many things.
yeah graphics was bad for one!
and i think it had many -ve than +ve points.
@kavi: animation was bad... believe me... there are many tamil movies with much better animations. not expected of a kamal's movie.
He spent 125 crores on the movie.. he could have done a better job with the graphics!
the movie sucked big time with bad graphics, makeup, bad story line and some missing links inbetween..
But i liked the way in which "butterfly effect" is explained and the climax dialogue.. "Kathal Mannan" proves his quality of thinking again, but i still pity the movie.. a score of 2 on a scale of ten..
